The 08 crew made this "Fans on Board" pit sign for the end of the pole used to let driver spot his pit area as he comes in.

Qualifying Day at Daytona -- The Sunday a week before the Daytona 500,  The car prepared for the Daytona 500 competition, including the Gatorade Duel, was not the same car entered in the Bud Shootout (see photos in the next lower section of this page.)

Call it "24 hours to Daytona."  Race Week Media's Alan Duke and Doug Barron brought Huddle House CEO Peter Greifeld and #37 owner John Carter together on a sponsorship agreement which was signed at 5:30 p.m. Friday, and the car wearing the Huddle House logo when it was lined up on pit row ready to run in the Budweiser Shootout 24 hours later.  These photos show some of what happened behind the scenes over the weekend.
